VOICE ACTING FOR VIDEO GAMES with RAY CHASE - DEMO REEL INCLUDED!
The opportunities to act in a video game are plentiful these days - most AAA games require a cast of a hundred to pull off thousands of voices, and a plethora of smaller games all have found that adding voice acting ups their quality and their potential sales. Throughout the class, you will be working on copy that will be recorded as an interactive reel in the fifth week! ABOUT RAY CHASE:
Ray Chase is best known for his versatility as a voice actor in video games and animation, as well as being a major spokesperson for brands such as Coke Zero, Progressive, Welch's, Corona Light, and Naturebox. Video game fans know him as the lead protagonist Noctis in Final Fantasy XV, as Eve from Nier Automata, Roy from Fire Emblem, Master of Masters from Kingdom Hearts, Marlon from The Walking Dead - among many others. Franchises he's worked on include Call of Duty, Fallout, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Soul Calibur, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Mass Effect. Superhero fans know him as the voices of Jason Blood and Etrigan the Demon in the DC feature film Justice League Dark. He is a con fixture making appearances all over the world with his show "Loud, Annoying, and Very Annoying" (LAVA) with fellow voice actors Robbie Daymond and Max Mittelman.

A native of Los Angeles, Portia is currently the director of Voiceover at Coast to Coast Talent Group where she runs the division with a subordinate staff, representing both adult and youth talent for all areas of voiceover, with over 100 broadcast TV & radio commercials on air and several national campaigns.

What is Looping/Group ADR?
Group ADR/Looping is a fun and lucrative part of the voiceover industry and post-production process. A group of actors jumps on a sound stage to record the extra dialogue necessary in film, TV, and video games. (Background voices, ADR, etc).
In this workshop, young actors will learn the ins and outs of looping, including what the terms mean and how to perform them, how to improvise appropriate dialogue, and how to prepare for a session. This hands-on workshop will give young actors the training and skills they need to pursue work in the field of looping!

LOOP GROUP: ADVANCED LEVEL with WOLFIE TRAUSCH
COURSE: The principal way to become a great looper is to practice. We'll reinstate the fundamentals that we've reviewed in the first round, and expand upon the important factors that will make you stand out as a superior loop group actor.
WEEK ONE: Exploring your vocal range, and how to incorporate vocal variety into your looping. Emphasis on covering efforts and mastering lip flap and Specifics.
WEEK TWO: Emphasis on understanding project tone, the type of call outs that are more likely to land, and how to handle more challenging ("advance research") shows.
WEEK THREE: Focus on how to handle longer, more difficult cues. Run as a full "advance research" session.
