AGENT INDUSTRY INTENSIVE

Actors should prepare a 2 minute scene or monologue. We provide male & female readers, or you may do a scene with another actor as long as you and your partner are both signed up for the intensive. Scenes with a partner must still be under 2 minutes.

Session 1: Actors bring in a prepared 2 minute scene or monologue and work with resident acting coach and Actors Company co-owner, Joe Salazar. You will also receive important information about how to choose and prepare material for an industry meeting, the importance of using the tools at your disposal, like social media and having an online presence, so that you are reachable and marketable, different types of industry meetings you might find yourself in, how to ask useful questions, and how you can be best prepared for a meeting and put your best foot forward.

Session 2: Participate in a mock interview with a panel of five theatrical or equity agents where you will present material you have prepared in a showcase format. You will then break into small groups and receive valuable one-on-one feedback from one of our guests.
